Our Vision

Our Vision

 The Chairman Speaks …

Our vision has been crystalized in the very name of the school – Wisdom World School. The same is also reflected in our LOGO … the globe illuminated by a flame underlined by the slogan LET THERE BE LIGHT. The phrase comes from the third verse of the Book of Genesis. In the Bible, it reads :

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void ;
and the darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, ‘Let there be light’ :  and there was light.
And God saw the light, and it was good;
and God divided the light from the darkness.”

….. verse from The Bible,  Genesis 1:3.

The school has been named ‘Wisdom’ the attainment of which is and should be the true goal of education. Our objective is not just to impart knowledge for knowledge sake but to educate the students to wean them away from the ‘darkness’ of dogmas and conventional thinking and lead them to ‘light’ of reasoning and wisdom so that they can explore new horizons

“Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit.”

Rabindranath Tagore

The school has also been named a ‘world’ school because we want to nurture our children into global citizens with progressive outlook rising above the divisive thoughts of caste, creed, religion and other man-made barriers. I would again like to quote Rabindranath Tagore who prays for a utopia

“Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls”.

At Wisdom, we do not discriminate in any respect on the basis of caste, creed, gender, religion etc. We have teachers and students from all the strata of society. We celebrate all the festivals of all the religions and teach our students to respect all human beings irrespective of their background.

Let our children celebrate HUMANITY!
